What I did was going to the “Farrukh” page you recommend and I installed the Office 2016 full suite from the link there. Then I downloaded your VL Licence Utility and ran it. A message showed up saying that Office was already activated and if I wanted to reactivate it anyway, which I did. Then Office was working fine (option to sign up but I skipped it). Went to “Help” in Word, looked for updates and the message popped-up. Do I need to instal anything else from “Farrukh” page or from yours?

I don't like the new power connector--surely the port will wear out in time (I like the older MacBook's magnetic power connector much better). Finally, I don't like the fact that I have to buy accessories (like a USB-C multimedia adapter) to have full functionality. Apple made some odd decisions with this machine--definitely not decisions for the better; they 'improved' the MacBook to make it worse. Do yourself a favor: Save your money and wait for the next model. Maybe by then Apple will have returned to its senses. I just wish my relative could get her money back!

Will not generate the necessary com.microsoft.office.licensingV2.plist preference file on a 2015 MacBook Pro running High Sierra with an SSD drive (APFS). This was doing a clean install removing every trace of the old Office 2016 installation. Multiple attempts. Same result after doing a recovery mode fresh install of High Sierra on the MacBook. I did a new install of High Sierra on an external hard drive (HFS), booted from it, and installed Office 2019 without any issues using the firewolf utility and was able to install on an iMac running High Sierra on a fusion drive (HFS) So my take is that there’s an issue (at least on my system) with the volume license utilities with High Sierra and APFS drives.

If I apply another style to the text, such as 'body head', 'normal', etc, then change back to this style, there is no difference. What you are saying about the sample inside the dialog box and outside the box is exactly correct. Using Myriad Pro Condensed Bold as my font in this example, viewing the style properties displays the correct formatting within the dialog box. However outside of the dialog box, the font renders completely wrong. No idea what is going on with the actual output. Here's another example with a different font/heading style. I had the same problem but I found the solution.
